The Alma Quartet then shines its light on Beethoven's Twelfth String Quartet, op. 127. And the British Doric Quartet unravels the secrets surrounding Schubert's last string quartet, D 887. Extra special is the concert by the Matangi Quartet and bandoneonist Carel Kraayenhof. They perform a moving musical portrait of film music composer Ennio Morricone.
