King concert - Mandolins, Wing, Organ - Vivaldi

Celebrate Saturday evening April 26th King's Day in the Edesche Concert Hall. The first King's Concert in Mediterranean atmospheres, with cheerful tones by the Duo Mandolino and the famous Bösendorfer Imperial grand piano. A musical, royal ending to a beautiful first King's Day!

Come and discover the special sounds of the mandolin: the stillness and the baroque side, but also the romantic and virtuoso character of the instrument. A musical, royal ending to a festive day! With Duo Mandolino, the Edesche Concert Hall hangs a Mediterranean pennant on the orange flag. Two mandolins and the accompaniment of both the organ and the grand piano ensure an unforgettable concert.

Cheerful sounds after a primeval Dutch day

A day full of festivities is thus concluded in the Edesche Concert Hall with big names like Handel, Shostakovich and Vivaldi, but also with music by the mandolin builder: Raffaele Calace. For this King's concert Duo Mandolino will be extended with organist Willie den Hollander. The crowning glory of a festive day! After a primeval Dutch day, enjoy these cheerful sounds during the first King's Concert in the Edesche Concert Hall.

Duo Mandolino consists of Marina Eckhardt and the originally Russian Svetlana Tratch. They play on two identical mandolins by the famous Italian builder Raffaele Calace. In addition to mandolin, they also play tenor mandolin, the so-called mandola.
