Travel with Franz Liszt to the picturesque Swiss Alps. Liszt recorded his many travel impressions in the impressive series of piano pieces 'Années de pèlerinage' (Pilgrim Years). A better guide in this music than pianist Louis Lortie is hardly conceivable. New Yorker Magazine rated Lortie's CD recording of Liszt's masterpiece as "best recording of 2012". NRC Handelsblad goes even further: "Louis Lortie is a master pianist pur sang in the best romantic tradition"
