"Not a day goes by without Bach." It could also be the motto of former Dom organist Jan Jansen. Bach is still one of the favourite composers. Organist Jan Jansen
They exist, outspoken families of musicians: the Bach family, the Mozart family. In the Netherlands the most famous music family is undoubtedly the family of former Dom organist Jan Jansen. Daughter Janine conquers the world as a violinist. In the Edesche Concert Hall Jan Jansen plays together with his talented sons David (organ and harpsichord) and Maarten (cello). Come and listen to this famous music family, which has more than earned its spurs.
In the Jansen family, music was literally given the go-ahead
Father Jan Jansen about his children: "Yes, I saw from the beginning that the musicality was in all three of them. We sang a lot, after dinner we always sang a few songs.
