Enrico PaceThat

world pianist Enrico Pace also studied orchestral conducting and composition comes in handy as a pianist. Like no other he leads the listener effortlessly through the most difficult pieces. Moreover, he paints with the full colour palette of the Bösendorfer Imperial. The superlatives aren't airborne. Thus NRC Handelsblad writes: "Pace conjures up an entire orchestra from the piano". But perhaps the most beautiful characterization comes from the Volkskrant: "Enrico Pace wanders over the keys with the nonchalance of a bar pianist. Scanning here, going through there, always pretending to find the tones on the spot."

Of all the winners of the renowned Franz Liszt Piano Competition, Enrico Pace has come furthest. Seven times he played in the series Master pianists of the Concertgebouw. As a pianist, Pace is the true musician among virtuosos: he turns the most difficult passages into pure poetry. "Enrico Pace orchestrates at the piano," wrote Trouw astonished. In music by Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms and Liszt this will certainly happen again with the Bösendorfer Imperial at your fingertips

"I've always felt like a musician."
He can't remember a moment when Enrico definitely chose the music. "I didn't have that idea. I don't consider what I do to be work, it's passion."
