Aidan Mikdad

At the age of fifteen, the young Aidan Mikdad has already built up an enormous track record. At the age of eleven (in 2013), he already received the First Prize of the Royal Concertgebouw Competition. In 2014 he won First Prize at the International Piano Competition of Lagny-sur-Marne. At the age of thirteen he received the Keyboard Festival Ruhr Scholarship 2015, from the hands of master pianist Hélène Grimaud. And in February 2016 he won first prize at the Premio internazionale pianistico 'A. Scriabin' in Grosseto (Italy). The concert in the Edesche Concert Hall precedes the opening concert Aidan will play during the Scriabin Competition on 20 February in Grosseto (Italy).

Coming master pianist Aidan Mikdad. At the age of twelve Aidan won the International Piano Competition in Lagny-sur-Marne, France. Since then, he has received important prizes from the world-famous Hélène Grimaud de Klavier-Festival Ruhr Scholarship 2015. Listen to fifteen-year-old Aidan in beautiful works by Beethoven, Ravel, Prokofiev and Skrjabin. Aidan Mikdad replaces Alexander Gavrylyuk, who is temporarily out of work (his concert will take place at a later time).
